Obverse description Circular field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in Ottoman Turkish script, reading the royal titulature of Sultan Ahmed III ibn Mehmed Han, arranged in stacked horizontal lines across the flan. The mint name Kostantiniyye and the regnal year 1115 AH appear in a cartouche-style panel along the lower portion of the field. The entire design is enclosed within a finely executed toothed or beaded border running the full circumference of the coin.
