Reverse description Central field features the Norwegian royal coat of arms — a rampant lion bearing a halberd, set within a square shield with a studded border — surmounted by a royal crown. To the left of the shield the denomination numerals 1/2 and 60 are inscribed vertically, and to the right the abbreviated denomination SPs. and Skill. Below the shield, the fineness inscription 18 1/2 St. 1 Mk. F.S. appears on one line, followed by the year with the Kongsberg mint's crossed hammers mintmark flanked by the date digits, and the engraver's initials I.G.P. at the bottom of the field.
