| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed and draped bust of Justinian I facing right, wearing a pearl diadem and cuirass decorated with a row of pellets along the shoulder. The emperor's hair is rendered in short curls, and a small earring is visible. The portrait is executed in the late antique tradition, with the legend partially visible in the field around the bust.
