| Obverse description | Central field displays a crowned Gothic monogram comprising the interlaced letters 'E' and 'N' (for Enricus), surmounted by an ornate Gothic crown with fleur-de-lis finials, all set within a raised inner beaded border. The monogram is rendered in bold Gothic relief characteristic of Castilian hammered coinage of the late 14th century. Surrounding the central device, the circumferential Latin legend reads DOMINVS MICHI ADIVTOR, separated by cross stops, between the inner beaded circle and the outer irregular flan edge. |
