Reverse description A voided short cross divides the reverse into four quarters, each containing four pellets arranged symmetrically within an inner beaded circle. A Latin legend naming the moneyer and mint encircles the design within the outer beaded border. The cross terminates well within the inner circle, characteristic of the Short Cross type. The overall design is bold and geometric, consistent with Angevin hammered half-penny production.
