| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bears a bold capital letter A in Gothic style, rendered in high relief characteristic of bracteate coinage. The letter is enclosed within a raised inner ring, itself surrounded by a prominent ray or radiate border forming the outer decorative frame. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, consistent with hammered bracteate production of the late medieval Norwegian monetary tradition. No additional legend or inscription accompanies the central device. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | As a bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the negative impression of the capital letter A and surrounding ray border pressed through the thin silver flan. This anonymous bracteate is attributed to the Oslo mint and struck during the joint reign of Haakon VI Magnusson and his son Olav IV Haakonson, circa 1350–1400. The surface exhibits typical bracteate characteristics including flan irregularity and shallow relief on the reverse face. |
