The legend reads 'al-sultan bin al-sultan', affirming the dynastic legitimacy of Nasir Shah as son of Sultan Ghiyath Shah. A small floral or rosette ornament is visible at the centre of the field, serving as a decorative divider between the two lines of text. The flan edges are irregular and slightly rounded, consistent with the variable-weight hammered fabric of Malwa copper issues. Green cuprite patina is present across the field.
