| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central crowned Portuguese royal shield displaying the five quinas (escutcheons) arranged in a cross pattern, each bearing five bezants, with a border of castles on the outer edge of the shield. The arms are surmounted by a cross above the crown. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by an outer circular legend in uncial Latin characters. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Portuguese hammered coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central motif depicting a long sword (espadim) positioned vertically with its hilt at the top, flanked by two ornamental foliate or fleur-de-lis style elements on either side, all within a beaded inner circle. The composition is rendered in the flat, bold relief typical of mid-fifteenth century Portuguese hammered billon coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin script runs around the perimeter between the inner beaded circle and the outer rim. |
