正面描述	The right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupies the upper portion of the rectangular flan, rendered in high relief with the queen depicted diademed and with elaborately dressed hair. The curved legend ELIZABETH II flanks the upper left and COOK ISLANDS the upper right of the portrait. The denomination HALF DOLLAR arcs below the effigy, with the engraver's initials IRB visible beneath the truncation. The date 2023 appears in large numerals in the lower centre of the field, with the fineness notation 2.5g FINE SILVER .999 inscribed below in the lower register.
