| Obverse description | Uncrowned right-facing effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, rendered in high relief after the portrait by Dominic Fellowes, with fine detail on the hair and collar. The bust is centered in the field against a polished mirror-like background. The surrounding legend arcs along the upper periphery reading CHARLES III · 2025 · SOLOMON ISLANDS, while the denomination HALF DOLLAR curves along the lower rim, all separated by raised bullet points. |

Peter Rabbit first appeared in Beatrix Potter's privately printed edition of 1901, after six commercial publishers rejected the manuscript. The character entered the public domain in the UK in 2013, fifty years after Potter's death, which triggered a wave of licensed and unlicensed numismatic issues across Pacific island jurisdictions — Solomon Islands among them. Gold-plated iron is unusual in commemorative coinage; copper-clad or silver-plated bases are far more common at this price point.
