Reverse description Central device depicts a detailed Gothic castle of three towers, the central tower taller and flanked by two lower turrets, each with crenellations, set upon a base with arched gates — the traditional heraldic castle of Castile. The mint mark 'B' for Burgos appears below the castle within the inner beaded border. The surrounding Latin legend is distributed around the coin's periphery, with the whole composition characteristic of the cuartillo series struck under Enrique IV.
