正面描述 The obverse is dominated by a central crescent and star vignette rendered in gold and red, set within a circular guilloche border, reflecting Islamic iconographic tradition. Multiple stamped cartouches in Arabic script are arranged around the central motif in red, black, and blue ink, alongside numeral value panels reading '1000'. A Cyrillic legend in a black panel at the lower centre reads 'ОДНА ТЫСЯЧА ТЕНГОВЪ', with handwritten serial numbers visible on either side.

备注

Khorezm — formerly the Khanate of Khiva — was a short-lived Soviet satellite state established in 1920 after the Red Army deposed the last khan, Sayyid Abdullah. Its treasury notes, including this 1,000 Tengas piece, were issued under extraordinarily chaotic conditions: the new republic lacked functioning banking infrastructure, experienced severe coin shortages, and was simultaneously navigating forced integration into the Soviet monetary system.

The Pick 7 reference places this among the earliest Khorezmi paper issues. By 1923 the republic was absorbed into the USSR, its currency rendered void almost immediately, and most notes were discarded rather than formally redeemed — which accounts for the genuine scarcity of surviving examples across the entire series.
