| 正面描述 | The obverse presents a composite vignette of Les Sables-d'Olonne landmarks: a sailing vessel at sea, the Pendule clock tower on the Remblai promenade, and the Château Saint-Clair, arranged within a decorative composition. A circle of stars, referencing the standard European note border motif, frames the design. Inscriptions identify the issuer and denomination. |

| 备注 |
The "0 euro" souvenir note format was officially authorized by the European Central Bank in 2015, with the stipulation that such issues carry no legal tender status and cannot be confused with genuine euro banknotes. Fonderie Saint Luc, based in Belgium, has been among the most prolific producers of these tourist items, supplying them to municipalities, heritage sites, and regional promoters across France and beyond. Les Sables d'Olonne, a coastal commune in the Vendée, has embraced the format aggressively — this 2023 issue is one of several the town has commissioned.
The watermark is a deliberate nod to genuine currency production, included more for perceived collectability than any anti-counterfeiting purpose. On a note with zero monetary value, the security theater is the point.
