背面描述	Central device comprising a Scythian battle-axe and a bow within its bowcase, depicted vertically in the field, emblematic of the city's close cultural ties with the surrounding nomadic peoples of the northern Black Sea region. The axe is positioned to the left of the bowcase, its blade clearly delineated. The Greek legend ΔΙ appears to the left of the central device and OΛBIO to the right, reading as an abbreviated form of the civic ethnic OΛBIOΠOΛITΩN, identifying the issuing authority as the polis of Olbia.
