| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing left, her hair rendered in wavy locks and adorned with a turreted mural crown, a characteristic emblem of the city goddess. The facial features are modelled in a naturalistic style typical of mid-fourth century BC Greek provincial coinage, with a well-defined profile, almond-shaped eye, and softly contoured chin. The field is plain, and the flan is slightly irregular as is common for hammered bronzes of this series. |
